Why Is The Best Anti Aging Face Moisturizer Not Even A Moisturizer At All?

If you’re looking for the best anti aging moisturizer that money can buy you need to know something about moisturizers and skin care products in general, and you also need to know why the best moisturizer is in fact not a moisturizer at all.

The first thing to understand, even know it may come as a surprise to you, is that most big brand-name moisturizers, in fact most skin care products generally, contain ingredients which may be damaging to your health and which generally don’t work anyway. A fine example of this kind of ingredient is mineral oil.

Mineral oil comes from crude oil and is in fact a byproduct of crude oil distillation. It is found in many personal, skin care and beauty products and is a petrochemical product. Baby oil is mineral oil. But sadly there are a wide range concerns for our health from using mineral oil in products used on our skin.

You may be familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets. A MSDS lists information about various chemicals including health concerns. Why would any anti aging company use mineral oil in it’s products where it is a potential health concern? The reason is that mineral oil is exceedingly cheap, costing virtually nothing.

And mineral oil is not an effective moisturizer. There are no active moisturizing properties in mineral oil at all but it is included because it is supposed to form a layer of oil over the skin which prevent moisture loss. This works to some degree but it is much more effective to use ingredients in moisturizers which actively moisturize.

There’s many of natural ingredients that moisturize very well and are totally safe. Some good examples of these are avocado oil, olive oil, Shea butter and babassu oil, all of which are excellent active moisturizers and all of which are safe to use.

And there are also plenty more ingredients which moisturize actively by different methods and which are found in the best anti aging moisturizers. A fine example of one of these ingredients is called Cynergy TK which is sourced from the wool of sheep. Cynergy TK improved skin health by means of increasing skin collagen and elastin which helps improve skin elasticity and reduce wrinkles. Healthier skin holds moisture levels more successfully.

Cynergy TK is exceedingly expensive and so there are very few products in the world that use it. The mainstream well-known anti aging companies won’t use it because of the cost. But one small niche skin care manufacturer does use it to produce what is the worlds best anti aging moisturizer even though it isn’t a moisturizer.

Rather their products all moisturize successfully because the ingredients mentioned above are in the entire skin care line. What reason is there to produce a moisturizer when any and all of your products moisturize successfully anyway?
