I love color contact lenses so much that I have virtually tried every color and brand that can be tried. I have found that some colored contact lenses help to make my eyes much more attractive, while others are very noticeable and make my eyes look unattractive and fake. Through all my trial and error, I now understand how to choose the best color contact lenses for attractive eyes.

First of all, it is important to understand that color contact lenses come in two main categories: opaque lenses and enhancement color contacts. Enhancement color contacts are designed to change the color of your eye just a little bit, or to make your eyes look brighter and more sparkling. These contacts are best used by people with lighter eye colors, like blue, green, gray, or light brown. Since these lenses are partially transparent, they have a very natural appearance on the eye.

Opaque lenses fall on the opposite side of the spectrum and completely change the color of the eye. Since these lenses are not transparent at all, they are best for people with dark eyes. A good use for opaque color contacts would be when a person has brown eyes, but wants sky blue eyes. Enhancement lenses would not be able to make this kind of transition. People who have lighter colored eyes are able to wear either kind of lens, it simply depends on the change they are trying to achieve.
